2025 CSC INTERNATIONAL BAZAAR
The Bazaar was held on Nov. 7, 2025 in downtown Clearwater on the 400 Cleveland Street block to celebrate the international cultures of our two sister cities Nagano, Japan and Ixmiquilpan, Mexico. The event included cultural demonstrations, art & crafts, and international shopping. We're grateful for all the vendors who participated: Clearwater Historical Society, Ikebana International Chapter 65, Federation of Hidalguenses, Unimex, Hukyu Bonsai Society, Clearwater Main Library, Stella Tresa Henna Tattoos, and Carwise Future Business Leaders.
2025 YOUNG AMBASSADOR STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM
The Young Ambassadors traveled to Japan in June 2025. During the first week they visited Nagano, Himeji, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, and Tokyo. During the second week, they stayed with a homestay family in Wakayama prefecture. Wakayama and Florida have been sister states since 1995.
2024 YOUNG AMBASSADOR STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM
The Young Ambassadors traveled to Japan from June 12 to June 24. During the first week they visited Himeji, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, and Tokyo. During the second week, they stayed with a homestay family in Nagano and attended Kawanakajima Junior High School.
